Last Night of the PromsCome and join the band led by James Symington for our Last Night of the Proms concert on Sunday 6th October at the Icknield Community College in Watlington.
We are delighted to feature Tenor, Adrian Thompson at the concert. In a career of over forty years, Adrian has sung with many opera companies and orchestras in the UK and abroad, notably Welsh National Opera, English National Opera, Royal Opera House, Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Strasbourg, La Scala Milan, Netherlands Opera and Canadian Opera Company. Recent performances include House of the Dead (Janacek) in both Savonlinna and Brno at the Janacek festival. Eisslinger (Die Meistersinger) Glyndebourne, Monostatos Scottish Opera, Emperor (Turandot) Toronto. Adrian also sang a Britten birthday recital with Michael Pollock at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama last November. Future performances include The Ring both in Germany and London with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and The Maid of Pskov at Grange Park.
